CUISH 2021 MADRECUISHE - REYNA SANCHEZ | 500 ML

This expression of Maguey Madrecuishe (Agave karwinskii) by Reyna Sanchez was made with horse-drawn circular stone mill. Fermented in Sabino wood, twice distilled in copper still. This is one of Reyna's signature expressions, very small batch. Only 96 bottles in Europe!

Aromas of this production: Earthy flavour on the nose, hints of pollen and sweet potato.

Flavours of this production: Licorice, dry and sweet-sour in the finish

• Miahuatlan de Porfirio Diaz, Oaxaca
• Roasted in truncated conical earthen oven 
• Tahona crushed 
• Fermented in open air sabino barrels with natural yeast using well water 
• Double-distilled in Filipino style copper pot still  
• 47% ABV
