As the 35-year-old master distiller from Atempa, Guerrero, México, Erika Menenses carries on the legacy of her late husband, Maestro Melquiades, by using the same traditional techniques to produce mezcal. With a deep passion for agave spirits, Erika represents the new generation of producers. This limited batch of Maguey Papalote (Agave cupreata), crafted by Erika in April 2023, consists of just 50 liters.
